We provide a secure and safe learning environment for all children. Our goal is to encourage self-expression (care for self) and group responsibility (care for others). Through our safe environment, your child is encouraged to express his or her creativity through play. We also believe that each child grows and learns at their own pace, so we will individually plan and provide care according to their needs. Each child’s sense of self-esteem and self-discipline shall be facilitated in our warm and caring environment. It is important for parents to feel good about bringing their children to our safe and nourishing environment. It is our privilege to assure that each child will have positive experiences in our centre.

Our programs are based on the Reggio Emilia Approach and Forest School style.

Reggio Emilia Approach believes "Children are capable of constructing their own learning".

Children are encouraged to use language to investigate, explore and to reflect on their experiences. They are listened to with respect, believing that their questions and observations are an opportunity to learn and search together. It is a continual and collaborative process. Rather than the child asking a question and the adult offering the answers, the search is undertaken together. The environment is the third teacher. The environment, filled with natural light, order and beauty, is recognised for its potential to inspire children. Open spaces free from clutter, where every material is organized and available to the children so they can express their interests. In Forest School style, children work outside regularly in an outdoor natural space over a long period of time (often a year) to build confidence and creativity. Long-term, repeated time spent in the same wooded or natural environment supports the development of a relationship between the child and the natural environment.

Both the Reggio Emilia Approach and Forest School style focus on child-led,inquiry-based learning and emphasize hands-on discovery that allows the child to use all their senses and to express their feelings and thoughts.
